APAAR ID (Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry) is a digital student’s identity devised in line with India’s National Education Policy (NEP 2020). Named as the ‘One Nation, One Student ID’, a platform like this would keep all academic record of a student at one place in secured manner. From school to university, everything achieved — whether it’s a certificate or a credit —is connected back to one lifelong ID.

APAAR is intended to facilitate academic administration for students, schools and HEIs throughout the nation.

APAAR ID is a unique digital number that students in India are provided. It links with the Academic Bank of Credit (ABC), which contains all academic records -results, certificates, skills and credits- digitally.

This ID will be with the student for life and provides a mechanism to monitor all learning including work experiences etc. in one platform. APAAR ID consent form is required for creating a student’s APAAR ID.
