High Security Registration Plates (HSRPs) are mandatory for all vehicles in India launched by Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) under the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988. These tamper-proof plates enhance reduce theft, vehicle security, and ensure standardized identification.
Through the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) portal(www.siam.in ) book a HSRP and Book My HSRP portal (www.bookmyhsrp.com ).
What is an HSRP Number Plate? HSRPs are aluminium-based plates with advances security, including:
Chromium-based Ashoka Chakra hologram.
10-digit laser-etched unique serial number.
Non-removable snap locks to prevent tampering.
Retro-reflective film for visibility.
Colour-coded sticker (third registration mark) indicating fuel type (blue for petrol/CNG, orange for diesel, grey for electric).
Required Documents for HSRP Booking

Booking HSRP via SIAM Portal Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers managed SIAM portal is secure platform for HSRP booking in states like Karnataka, Rajasthan, and others.

Check I Agree box and click on Submit button. Now a new page will open select the brand of your vehicle. A new page is open, click on ORDER YOUR HSRP NOW
Add following information: Vehicle Registration State Fitment Location HSRP Order Type Pin code City Dealer / HSRP Center Appointment Date Vehicle Registration Number Vehicle Chassis Number Vehicle Engine Number Vehicle Type (two-wheeler, four-wheeler, commercial, non-transport). Fuel Type (petrol, diesel, CNG, electric). Owner Name. Registered Mobile Number. Email ID. Billing Address. You can see your vehicle details, owner information, and appointment.
Pay the HSRP fee: Two-wheelers/Tractors: Rs. 400–600 (excluding GST). Three-wheelers: Rs. 590–700. Four-wheelers: Rs. 800–1,500. Colour-coded sticker: Rs. 100. Home delivery: Rs. 125–250. Snap locks: Rs. 10–50. Pay fees through UPI, debit/credit cards or banking. Download and save the payment receipt . You will receive confirmation SMS/email with: Order Number Appointment date, time, and fitment center (or delivery details).
Visit to fitment center on the scheduled date with: Vehicle Registration Certificate (RC) .Payment receipt .ID proof (Aadhaar, driver’s license, etc.).The vehicle. The parcel delivered to provided address receive and install the plate. Verify the plate check hologram, laser-etched number, snap locks, and correct registration number
Booking HSRP via Book My HSRP Portal Rosmerta Safety Systems or Real Mazon India Ltd managed Book My HSRP portal for HSRP booking in states like Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, and others.
Step 1: Visit the Book My HSRP Portal
Step 2: Enter Vehicle and Owner Details
Choose your state and vehicle type. Fill the information: Vehicle Registration Number .Chassis Number (last 5 digits, if required).Engine Number (last 5 digits, if required).Fuel Type (petrol, diesel, CNG, electric).Owner Name .Registered Mobile Number .Email ID .Billing Address .Verify the Captcha Code .
Submit the details on your registered mobile number you receive an OTP . Enter your OTP and verify it. To track your status you receive login credentials.
Step 4: Select Fitment or Delivery Option
Select one of them: Home Delivery (additional fee applies).Dealer Appointment (visit a fitment center).
For home delivery: Enter your pin code to check service availability. Pay extra (Rs. 125 for two-wheelers, Rs. 250 for four-wheelers). For dealer appointment: Choose your state , district , and fitment center from the list. Choose a date and time slot .
Step 5: Review Booking Details
Check your vehicle details, owner information and appointment/delivery. Verify all information and edit if you want.
Pay the HSRP fee: Two-wheelers : Rs. 400–600.Three-wheelers : Rs. 590–700.Four-wheelers : Rs. 800–1,500.Colour-coded sticker : Rs. 100.Home delivery : Rs. 125–250.Use UPI, card or net banking. Download the Payment Receipt .
Step 7: Receive Booking Confirmation
Get an SMS/email with: Order number .Appointment or delivery details. Save for reference.
For home delivery: Make sure you are available at your home address for plate installation. For dealer appointment: Go to fitment center with RC, ID proof, receipt and vehicle. Vender will install the HSPR and sticker.
Step 9: Track Your Application
Visit to www.bookmyhsrp.com Track Your Order . Enter your order number, registration number and captcha. View the status (pending, processed, ready). You can apply for a Duplicate HSRP (lost or Damaged Plate).
On SIAM Portal or Book My HSRP , choose Replacement/Retain/Transfer . Enter vehicle details (registration number, engine number, chassis number). Select a fitment option and Book an appointment. Pay the fee and go to fitment center with RC, ID proof and receipt. Apply for a Colour-coded Sticker only:
Choose Only Colour Sticker on portal. Enter vehicle details and laser code on HSRP. Pay Rs. 100 and book an appointment or delivery. HSRP fees depend on state, vehicle type and vendor:
